I just downloaded the version 3 beta 1 kit. I noticed there are many code check-ins and I was wondering if I need to download all of them and apply prior to customizing the kit. If so, do I have to apply them in the order they were uploaded? Or should I download the latest release under the souce code tab (change set 3923) and just install that? Any help would be appreciated.

Depends... do you use VS Express or VS Standard/Pro/Team Suite?

I am using VWD 2008

Then you probably shouldn't... since there is an external class library we develop on. You could get a trial of Team Suite (that's what I do to not pay the price for it :) )

I probably shouldn't what, use VWD? I can use Team Suite or any other MS product since we are a Certified MS development shop. I'm still not sure what product or change set to download to begin using the Version 3 kit.

You probably shouldn't try to use the checked in code since you are using express

Ok, I am confused. Should I use the released Beta 1 version 3 kit with VWD or should I download the checked in code using Visual Studio or Team Suite? I can use whatever is the best IDE environment for working with the kit that you believe would make the development and deployment experience best. Thanks for the help!

I have both VS 2005 and VS 2008. I also have Visual Suite. So, should I just start with the Version 3, Beta 1.0 or should I download a different release from the source code area?
