Hi,

Can anybody suggest in the fewest lines of code, the quickest way of delimiting the home page events and news item feeds until the user has logged on. I can successfully delimit the menu items until the user has logged on but the feeds will still appear.

Thanks in advance for any help here

Put this before the news div:
<% If User.Identity.IsAuthenticated = True Then %>

and put this after:

<% End If %>

by using the code z2bass provided, you can delimit the menu items on user control UserContsols/LoginBanner.ascx

Did you put a redirect to the Login or to the Membership page? I am going to add this same functionality and redirect everyone to the Membership page since you can log in from there also. Thanks for the help Plaid.

This doesn't redirect to the login page, it just hides it if the user isn't logged in.
